Tips for maximum benefits with the Ketopia system!!!
It's important to know that this is not a high protein, Atkins type diet. This is a high fat program. It is a moderate protein plan and carbs should come only from green leafy vegetables, NO sugar. No diet sodas, juices, and NO ALCOHOL!
You can have unsweetened tea or coffee and add stevia for your sweetener. Don't overdo it on the caffeine because excess caffeine can spike your blood sugar and create an insulin response.
Mix your KETONX drink in 15 - 20 ounces of water, not 10 -12 like the card insert says. Sip on it slowly for about 45 minutes in the morning on an empty stomach. If your GI system is sensitive to the drink then simply use half or a quarter of the pack the first few days. Remember, this is a detox plan and some of us eat cleaner than others.
3 hours after the drink you are going to have your dough bite. You can bake the dough bite at 350 degrees for about 7 minutes or you can eat it raw. Some people are baking them and adding nuts and butter as well.
3 hours after the doughbite you're going to have your chocolate FIXX shake.
3 hours after the shake you are going to eat a high-fat, moderate protein meal with a green leafy vegetable. It's okay to add butter or cheese to your meal. Remember this is a high fat program.
If you find that you are needing to eat more through the day, as you will likely be hungry the first couple of days on the plan, it is okay to have a ketogenic friendly snack when you have your dough bite or your chocolate shake.
Do NOT snack between these products because you want to allow your body to pull from fat stores for fuel. If you are snacking all day there's no reason for it to pull fat. It is very important to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water per day. Your kidneys are part of the detoxifying process too.
You are going to have increased energy while doing this plan because fat provides your cells 200 to 300% more energy than glucose or carbohydrates can. Get out and do some walking or light exercise to maximize your fat burning. If you are someone who likes to lift weights or do heavier activities... our company is designing a program tailored to that as well. Unlike men, women will notice more loss of inches than changes in the scale so weigh yourself, take measurements, and you can even go to a Nutrishop store and they will measure your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass. Fat takes up more space than muscle so you will find that your pants and tops are fitting much better by the end of the 10 days.
After the 10 days you are going to continue on a ketogenic diet. You can do another reset kit immediately after or you can restart it at any time. there are tons of health benefits of being in nutritional metabolic ketosis and fat loss is just one of them......it is safe to use long term. Good things to add to this diet to increase your fat intake are MCT oils, coconut oil, and heavy whipping cream!!
