Once again I have received an advertisement in the mail proclaiming to heal and help with many common ailments. The brochure focuses on sugar cravings, weight  loss, thyroid function, hormones and more. How do they do this? By trying to sell you bottles upon bottles of different concoctions for different symptoms. This occurs over and over again in these marketing campaings. Companies and doctors promoting many individual products/supplements to aid in the treatment of individual symptoms and disease. This is not how the body works. The most recent science is proving a holistic approach with natural methods is just as good or better than most drugs without the side effects. I call it "Wholeistic medicine" because the basis of this treatment is eating whole foods. Foods that the human body is supposed to eat. Not processed or claiming to be healthy. Successfully treating disease requires investigation into the the cause of the dysfunction not treating or masking the symptoms.
